Le nouveau monde arabe

Posted in fr.news.yahoo.com/fc/dessins/cartoons yesterday.

As pointed out to me yesterday evening, look at the details of what seems to have changed since the French Revolution painting by Delacroix below.

The man on the right on the Nouveau Monde Arabe cartoon picture holds a mobile phone : no official press allowed. Revolution social media style. Information is not held by dominant voices with vested interests only, but by people.
This technological culture shift may announce the end of media consumerism, people will not accept anymore to be recipient of news only, they'll want to 'have their say', create information, and they'll want to 'act'.

This may be the end of the passive consumer era.
And this may have been made possible, thanks to a technological change, free internet access!
