Observation, Reflexion
Written by a student called Flame, extract from The Golden Notebook from Doris Lessing
"You are in the process of being educated. We have not yet evolved in a system of education that is not a system of indoctrination. We are sorry, but it is the best we can do. What you are being taught here is an amalgam of current prejudice and the choices of this particular culture. The slightest look at history will show you how impermanent these must be. You are being taught by the people who have been able themselves to a regime of thought laid down by their predecessors. It is a self-perpetuating system. Those of you who are more robust and individual than others, will be encouraged to leave and find ways of educating yourself - educating your own judgement. Those who stay must remember, always and all the time, that they are being moulded and patterned to fit into the narrow and particular needs of this particular society."

Where did you see this graffiti: in the classroom !
My point.
You still need to be in the classroom to have access to this piece of educated critical thinking.
My opinion is go to the classroom first and develop your own learning after, there is a huge university out there, you can not miss it whether you want or not, it is called Life; the problem is that it may take you a bit longer to learn, and also, it may be even more expensive.
An other point, where will you live 'sheltered from any social mould', we are social animals, we still prefer being together even if we don't like 'the narrow mould'. The good news is that we can change it.
We can change it only if we are in it and that we make our voice dominant, meaning, if we manage to abide by the rules first, the rules that will enable our voices to be heard.
