Amazing sights in the Great Barrier Reef

20 Years After

On 22nd December 2011, we boarded a Seaplane from Airlie Beach as a surprise trip for my family. Ten minutes after, we passed the 74 Whitsunday islands, partly submerged ancient mountains, and we reached Australian Great Barrier Reef, the LARGEST LIVING THING on Earth, and we ...

... went to see its heart ...

Paul said : 'you take me to the nicest place on the Solar System'; the children were delighted, Oscar with the chance to board a Seaplane for the first time, and be given Pilot Cap for free at the end, and Josie in a Prime Position in the front.

It was an unforgettable sight, but, unfortunately, the waves were too high and we could not enter the waters to snorkel on this occasion

'Makes me proud to be Australian', said Oscar. We had a laugh.
